    My husband’s laptop running WXP SP2 kept shutting down with a black screen of info that didn’t stay long enough for me to read it so I used the toshiba recovery disc and restored it to factory defaults, however I cannot get Windows updates to run at all. I get an error that isn’t shown in the help, (which comes up with “website unavailable” anyway. )I realise that XP is practically obsolete now but …any advice? Error is 0x8024402F if it helps.
