    Hi.

Until last week, I could click links in emails in Outlook (assuming that they weren’t in the Junk Mail folder). I have the setting to prevent this happening turned off – I still do. However, I uninstalled my trsuty AVG security suite to install Comodo personal firewall, since it is reportedly stronger. Since then, I cannot follow links and get and Outlook message that says

“This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator”

Assuming that this was Comodo’s fault, I tried every setting I could find, but not curing the problem I eventually uninstalled it – except that I still have the problem. I remain convinced that Comodo caused the problem, but I cannot see how to get rid of it and I am becoming increasingly frustrated.

    Any clues, anyone?

    Stuart

        Leif,

        Wonderful, thank you.

FWIW, there is no “reset” button in IE7 options, but I clicked on “Make Default” (since I normally use Firefox) and then opened Firefox to reset it back to that. Hey presto, all the links work again!

        Thanks once again.

        Stuart
