Check W11 Pro 23H2 updates before down loading.

‘Older’ computer person here. In the dim past I used W10 Pro set up to show what was being offered by MS before checking on this site and down loading.  After a long break from Windows I now have a new laptop with W11 Pro 23H2.  Old memory fails on how to set up the show updates but let me decide to install them.  I do recall the where but not the how.  From memory PK Cano offered me help with this but with W11 my dull memory and confidence fail me.  Any help at all would be well received.  Thank you in advance.

You might consider WAU Manager from Carifred.

Very simple user interface (IMO).

No need to touch Group Policy or Windows Update settings.

We’ve used it for several years with no issues.

Or WuMgr for a similar experience to WAU Manager.

WuMgr works…I wouldn’t call it a “similar experience”.

IMO, WAU Manager has an easier to follow interface, especially for not-so-technical users.

It gets frequent updates…last one was 15 days ago.

WuMgr hasn’t had an update since December 2019. The .exe is not digitally signed.

I don’t recommend it to my clients.
