    PC / WIN7 / Thunderbird / Firefox:

So (maybe it’s the cold weather we’re presently having . . . ) when I click on a link in an email message, it isn’t opening that link in Firefox, either for left click or right click (“Open Link in Browser”).

Any thoughts about what’s going on (not going on) and a remedy?

    Thank you. Appreciated.

I do not use Webmail, but I had that problem recently with TB as my mail client on my Mac, and it was resolved by restarting the computer. If the first time it does not work, try again, maybe the second time it will.

First place to check (deeper digging available):
In Firefox: Tools > Settings > General > Startup > [is FF the default browser?]
      * Older FF: Tools > Options > [as above]

I’ve been periodically having this happen since upgrading to Thunderbird ver. 91 (currently 91.3.2) and whenever I already have a page open in Google Chrome (my default browser).  The work-arounds have been to either close the open page(s) or reboot.  I believe it to be a bug.
