Hello, I must compare 2012 payment activity to 2013.

Data is in in 2 columns that have the same heading, however, the list of funds have changed between the 2 years. Any suggestions on how to merge same info and add new ? I tried a pivot table and that didn’t work.

    FY2013 Fund FY13 $
    556069 7,002.50
    558339 1,330.98
    553069 7,307.40

    FY2012 Fund FY12 $
    558339 3,230.98
    556069 19,970.04
    557069 18,164.96
    553733 952.00

      AB,

If this is what you’re after:
      32982-ab2537-Pivot-Table
What I would do is add a column on each worksheet and enter the year into it for each entry.
Then setup 3rd sheet and copy the data from the other two sheets one after the other.
      Then use a Pivot Table.

      Attached is an example file.

      HTH
