    Is there anyway to increase the maximum (3) amount of options for conditional formatting. I’m working on a spreadsheet that requires a different color cell for approximately 8 entries. Thanks.

      you could use vba to apply color instead of using conditional formating. when you leave the cell the macro can fire and set the cell formatting.
