Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
All of a sudden (for about a week now), every time I start my Word 2007, “configuration in progress” runs. This takes several minutes. I am up-to-date with SP3. My Windows version is Vista Home Premium (64 bit) (up-to-date). Could a recent MS-Office update have caused this?
Before this, “configuration in progress” would run occasionally for Word 2007. It never runs for any other Office program.
