I got a request from a user who I did an Excel app for and he’s wondering if I could enhance it to directly transfer data to an LDAP server. (Right now the Excel app puts data in a specific format in the clipboard so the user can paste it manually into another application.)

The only thing I know about LDAP is what the acronym stands for but I do know how to use ADO to connect to a regular database.

I did a search on LDAP in the Lounge but only refernces to Access/Outlook/Exchange came up. Is there a method like ADO to connect to an LDAP server from w/in Excel? doh

Please pass any tidbits of info my way.
    Thnx, Deb hairy
