Data Validation list (XP)

Sheet 2 has the all of the State names. List has been named States. Sheet one has data validation based on this list. Instead of dragging down through the list to find a State to select I would like to be able to type in for example, M, in order to jump down the list to States beginning with M. I am sure I have seen this before using code, but I cannot locate it now. Not sure if it was from the Lounge or some other site. Help would be appreciated.

DataValidation does not work this way. It can be done using the combobox from the controltoolbox. These are the default settings so all you need do is add the linked cell and listfillrange…
