DB Conversion Access 2.0 to Access 2000

When converting a database created in Access 2.0 under Windows for Workgroups 4.3 to Access 2000 (Win98 SE), I keep getting some errors. Queries are renamed, i.e. “Booklist1” becomes “Booklist” (and this doesn’t seem to have anything to do with Name AutoCorrect since I turned it off and nothing changed) but what is worse, forms aren’t working properly. I checked code and SQL’s and synchronized them with the queries’ name changes but it didn’t help. I also checked the Microsoft support site but couldn’t find anything.
Can anyone help with this?
