My colleague has send me a template that she has designed. However, she has some link this file with other files. Whenever I open this file, it will prompt me whether I want to update the link.
How can I delete the links so that no message will be prompted whenever I open this file??

Yes, I had this irritation.
I overcame it by going to the ‘Change Links’ box and linked the file to itself.
Everything them became greyed out and no more grief (for this reason, anyway.)

You can download the free Findlink utility from http://www.bmsltd.ie/mvp/%5B/url%5D. It will allow you to locate all links in a workbook, and gives you the option to replace them by values.
