I think the title of the thread says it all.
What’s the trick? or if this bug is a feature, what’s the workaround for a quick way of selecting the whole range, in its current state?

Dynamic ranges have never been visible in the Names box on the left hand side of the menu bar.
You can still type the name in the Names box to select the range.
I recommend that you download and install Jan Karel Pieterse’s Name Manager add-in (free). It provides a dialog with many more features than the built-in one.

NO thanks.

The trick to select a dynamic range is using F5 and typing the name in the box.
