I have a form in Access 2000 where I can view customer data. One of the fields is a text box where I insert a webpage URL. I have set up the text box property Hyperlink = Yes so that by clicking on the URL, IE opens up and takes me directly to the webpage.

I have a second text box where I insert the e-mail address. However if I activate the Hyperlink property, the address turns into an underlined blue, but nothing happens when I click on it. How can I set it up so that by clicking on it, a ready-addressed message opens in Outlook?

Or am I asking too much? angel

        Jerry,
I had a look at SendObject, but it doesn’t seem to do what I want. sad I understand it is used for sending entire forms or reports by e-mail.

What I have is a form with name, address, telephone. etc. One field has the webpage URL, and this field has the hyperlink property enabled. When I click on this field, IE opens and gets me the webpage.

I was wondering if it was possible do the same trick with the e-mail field – I would like Outlook to open with a blank e-mail message weith the e-mail address filled in.

        Any ideas?
