First post on AskWoody and need lots of help: Anyone else having problems with Setting Aside Tabs in Windows 10 Edge? Hasn’t worked for me for a couple of years, so I started trying harder: If I try to set 1 tab aside it can never be restored. If I set 2 or more tabs aside, sometimes they can be restored. Then again, when I exit Edge and re-start Edge they can be restored, but other times they simply never appear again. If I click on a tab to open one or more tabs, they disappear as I click, but then again if I click to restore a tab or group of tabs they open. There seems to be no simple logic to dealing with how set aside tabs work.
The Favorites Bar in Edge is now a folder, but when I Imported the Favorites Bar from IE which now just importing Favorites, not the bar, favorites did not match what is currently in IE. Nothing works as expected. Is this feature so bad that no one mentions it? Or do I need to reset Windows 10 AGAIN?
However, when using the Favorites Bar in IE, it is very simple to create favorites and move, rename, and delete items in the Bar. Either I’ve become a complete idiot or Edge has been designed for use on another planet. Can Anyone help me regain my sanity, or fix my PC, or is this “Microsoft Edge: Mission Impossible”? Found nothing by using Search.
OK, if no answers to the above, how do I change the Avatar from a ghost to my image? Edit Profile doesn’t seem to have an option for that.
