• Email Plain Text using Word

I use Word as my e-mail editor, but I would occasionally like to send a message as plain text. If I have the user marked properly in Outlook, I can do this by simply answering the dialog box that pops up. However, sometimes I want to send plain text to a user that normally receives HTML text. At one time, I had a toolbar button to switch the format, but I lost it during a reinstall and can’t find it again.

Does anyone know how to create such a button? I can’t even find the commands to use in a macro.

If you DON’T use Word as your email editor, the different formatting options are available in a new message under the Format menu. You didn’t lose it because you reinstalled. You lost it because you use Word as the email editor.

No, at one time I had the same buttons available when using Word. I got an add-in from someone that made them available. I seem to recall that it was a registry hack that made them available. If I could find the command to change the format, I could create a macro, but I can’t find the command.
