    Hi
Browsing my windows/temp direstory I found a whole lot of junk/gunk, including 118 *.emf files ea 2kb – no idea what these are – also 22 *.tmp files with HA attribs which of course my batch file won’t delete.
Does anyone know whether I need these? What are they likely to be, how can I get rid of them?
If I provide a list of all the other contents of this directory can I can help on how to clean it out thoroughly?

    Thanks for any help

You most likely do not need them. The *.tmp files are used by windows and any with today’s date should be left (they may be in use), but you can delete the rest.

The emf extension normally indicates a windows graphics (Enhanced Meta File, – I think) so you might like to view those files to see if you want to keep them, otherwise there should be no problem in removing them.
