I am slowly but surely getting all my patches installed from the master patch list on two windows 7 computers. Today I tried to install 4516065. Twice it said error and did not install. This hasn’t happened with any other patches. Any thoughts about this?

There aren’t a lot of other recommended patches at present. There is a malicious software removal tool 890830. Are we supposed to install these?

Also KB4524752 that I don’t see on the list one way or the other.

And while I am here what is a sheet update?

    Thanks!

There are some patches you need to be sure that are installed before you install KB4516065:
KB4474419  SHA-2 code signing support dated in Sept. 2019
      KB4490628 2019-03 Servicing Stack
You will also need the 2019-09 Servicing Stack KB4516655 after KB4516065 Rollup.

KB4524752 is a Win7 EOL nag that will deliver nagging notices that Win7 will be EOL shortly.
You should HIDE that one (ie, not install it)

        Very clear answers. Thank you!

the KB4524752 update is offered to Win7 PRO systems only, PKCano.
for those using other Windows 7 editions like Home Premium or Ultimate, block/hide the KB4493132 update instead

The OP asked specifically about KB4524752.
He didn’t mention KB4493132. If he had, I would have given him the same advice to hide it.

but also the OP mentioned using Windows 7 but did not specify which edition or editions he was using

as I said before, KB4524752 is only offered to Windows 7 Professional Edition as KB4524752 will not show up on WU for other Win7 editions

OP should run either Msinfo32.exe or winver.exe to display the Windows 7 edition being used on his machines

I have been having problems with this download also. Just checked and I am running 7 Pro. What would be the problem here ? Do I still need to download the patches mentioned by PH Cano above ?
      Thanks

For my case, manually updating KB4490628 2019-03 Servicing Stack resolving the issue of unable to complete the update for KB4516065.
