    Hi,

    I’m VERY new to Access.

For reports/forms, is there an Access expression similar to an Excel vlookup formula?

Let me know if I need to provide more details.

    Thanks!

Not exactly. In Access, you can use the DLookup function to retrieve a value from a table, but what you usually do is bind a form or report to a table or query and populate fields from that automatically. Queries are usually the best method of returning data, since you can join multiple tables in a single query to populate your form or report, plus you can use comboboxes and listboxes that get their rows from still another table or query.

If you explain more about what you’re trying to do, I’m sure someone will be able to help you.
