Running Excel 2013 – it suddenly started refusing to open existing .xlsx files and would hang – after a while it pops up an error box saying “Microsoft Excel is waiting for another application to complete an OLE action”. I have to “End Task” to close the program. The files scan virus-free and I created them and use them frequently.
I’ve done a full reinstall of Office 2013 and even did a reinstall of Windows 10 Pro! I thought that had fixed it because it all seemed to work, but then I find it happens again sometimes. When it does, a reboot clears the problem – until the next time!
Any suggestions? I’m totally at a loss.
