Hi
In all editions of Windows 8, how do I make sure that it executes a DOS command each time a user logs off?
Thanks
Bye

Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |

Balubeto,
Use the Task Scheduler and set your trigger as shown below:
34043-Event-Trigger

Jim,
There is no Winlogoff! Code 7001 = Logon 7002 = Logoff. HTH
Makes sense!
I just learned about something very similar to that. I learned that for Windows Defender (Windows 8), you have to go to Task Scheduler in order to set up scanning schedules. There’s no way to do that inside of Windows Defender! Event ID 1 gives you a quick scan, and Event ID 2 gives you a full scan.
The Task Scheduler settings look a lot like you are filling in values in the Windows Registry; in other words, Task Scheduler is a shell for the Windows Registry.
Back in the day, we referred to this stuff as “Command-Line Parameters”.
