I have Outlook 2007 on my laptop and my desktop. I need to export the contacts from the laptop to the desktop. I’m not sure if I remember the steps. Can anyone help me? Thank you very much.

Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |

AskWoody LoungerMay 29, 2007 at 4:04 am #1066422Maybe you could tell us about SyncToy, if you have used it, and how to apply it, if it is relevant. If it’s a better way, that’s great, but I admit to not having used it myself. For anyone who has to synchronize two computers on a regular basis, it sounds potentially valuable, and you can’t beat the price.

AskWoody LoungerMay 29, 2007 at 5:53 am #1066427My apology: I should have explained that SyncToy is a Windows PowerToy freely downloadable from Microsoft. Because it is a PowerToy it is unsupported, and they do seem to link it closely to photography in discussing applications, but they also specifically mention email.
I had hoped that either you or someone else reading the thread might have had personal experience with it, since synchronizing such files is common among certain users but it is not something I do often. It appears that Microsoft has significant documentation to go with it, and I should have read that before asking.
