I run Firefox under Windows on a standard Intel box, all fully updated. I have the Bookmarks bar in the standard position down the left side.

Since FF went to v. 36, I have a second bookmarks bar across the top, beneath the URL line, just as in Chrome. None of the View options affects it. How do I turn it off?

    Thanks.

Right-click in the blank area to the left of the first tab then click on Bookmarks Toolbar in the menu to deselect it.

      Hope this helps…
