So the way my dad explains his problem is like this, for his father, my grandad. He says he put a disk in his computer to transfer some files onto his desktop & then from there onto another disk. In WIN explorer he selected the file & clicked copy, he got distracted then somehow & a few minutes later resumed his work, but he wound up clicking COPY against the same file, the original he was going to copy to his desktop. Apparently since then he’s been unable to copy stuff anymore he gets a FILE STRUCTURE 1260 error. Could someone explain what might be the problem I looked on the MSDN www site but only came up with the below which isn’t very descriptive or helpful to solve the problem. I’d appreciate any help, please advise.
