My understanding is Github has many code snippets which might be useful for Python programmers. I am a novice at using Github . Every Github tutorial I have seen discusses how to configure a method to control the programming of code I might write. That does not help me. I’m trying to find a tutorial to show me how I can find Python code snippets . There are probably many people writing very useful Python code which could be useful to me. My computer runs Windows 7 Pro.

Q1: What Github tutorials have you found useful?

Q2: How would you search in Github for Python code which updated data to Mysql tables?

Q3. May be Github is not the application to use. What would you suggest?
