• Fixing auto fill errors

I’m sure this has been covered before, but I couldn’t find it. Anyway, I have auto fill forms enabled in IE5.0. Specifically, my Altavisa e-mail account. Heres the rub. I’ve mis-keyed my entry a few times and now, rather than just having to type the first letter of my user name, I have to click down the list (I’ve inadvertantly created,) or re-type my whole username.
I’m assuming the auto-fill info is stored in the registry somewhere, but my searches have turned up empty. I know I can just turn off auto fill, and delete history, but I don’t want to loose all my other entries.
Am I looking in the wrong place, or is there no where I can edit for a specific URL?
    TIA,
    Karl

When in the list, use your down arrow key to select the entry, then press delete.

        WIBD, learn something every day.

Ignore my other post, it is correct as far as it goes, however James solution is much better.

You have to Clear History to remove auto-complete entries. You can not delete individual entries, it is all or nothing.
