I see that Spybot Anti-Beacon is available as a “portable app” at portableapps.com I remember reading about this several years ago but never did anything with it.

I thought that this might be a subject you could address, especially in this age of increasing emphasis on privacy.

MS security update
Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3087040) released 22 Sept is in error and prevents the reading of some of the more complex websites http://www.telegraph.co.uk and http://www.dailymail.co.uk

I managed to restore the PC to the restore point before the update which go it working ok. However the update files were still on the PC so it reinstalled (not stopped by setting network to metered connection) So I will have to restore again to an earlier restore point.
WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO CONTROL UPDATES and MS need to generate more reliable patches

I don’t see this app “Spybot Anti-Beacon” listed at the Portableapps.com site. I’m wondering if it’s still available.

Being 20 something in the 70's was so much better than being 70 something in the insane 20's
