1. Have a forms toolbar in Word 2003.
2. Can not find the forms toolbar or the commands on the toolbar in Word 2007. Looking for (Text form field, drop-down forms field).

Toolbars do NOT exist on Word 2007. If you have trouble finding command in the Office 2007 suite try the Search Commands addon from Microsoft Office Labs. It can help orient you and find “old friends”.

Does your ribbon show a Developer tab? I think form controls might be on there. (You might have to check a box in the options to get the Developer tab.)

The controls you mention are on the Developer’s tab in the Legacy Control. Since it is a Legacy Control you may want to consider one of the newer controls to accomplish your task.

To add the Developer tab to the Ribbon, click the Office button, Word Options. The Popular options page should appear. Click to check “Show Developer tab in the Ribbon.” OK out.
