When I use getpivotdata in Excel 2003, I want to be able to copy the formula to other cells. The getpivotdata function uses absolute references, so copying does not work. When I turn off he absolute references with f4, then copy the calculation to other cells, it still does not work. I always get the same number result. Is it not possible to do what I want with getpivotdata?
I have checked Microsoft’s Knowledge Base and not found anything useful.

    Thanks for any help.

Can you provide details, or post a sample workbook? It depends on what you want to make relative.

        Hans,

I am adding a file that I made up. The real thing is very much more complicated and confidential material. However, the attached shows what I want to do.

        Thanks,

        IT

If I put this formula in C20:

          =GETPIVOTDATA(“Sales”,$A$10,”Name”,A12,”Region”,”east”)

I can fill it down to C22 and get correct results (A12 becomes A13 and A14, respectively)
