I use a simple program called WordWeb.  It’s a dictionary.  Hit CTRL and left click and 5×6 window opens giving you the definition(s) and usages.

It use to start up and run from the notification bar.  Now I have to have it pinned to my taskbar and click that to open it. THEN it’s in both places.

How do I get it back to STARTING in the notification bar.  I understand it will show in both places, but it used to work the other way around. And it just bugs the hell out of me that it doesn’t automatically start in the notification bar like it use to.

      Check Preferences:

      Installation

Do I have to install to the system tray?

No, there is an option in the installation program to disable this feature. However, if you do not install to the tray you will not be able to look up words in other programs with just one click.

See the Preferences (on the Options menu) for options regarding running at startup. At any time you can also use the “wwnotray” program open WordWeb directly without running on the system tray.
