    Hi,

Does anyone have a Github account and can leave a message on a project. I went to download Memtest86+ from their website and none of the checksums match for both amd64 versions I tried.

    https://memtest.org/

    https://github.com/memtest86plus/memtest86plus/issues

I need the program for my computer to check something and downloaded the correct file and none of the checksums match what is listed by download links. i am reluctant to use something that is not verfied.

    thanks,

    fm

what kind of computer are you using and what OS do you have on that computer when attempting to use memtest86+?
      list the specs

edit – I have a github account and I’ll try to comment at this link when I have the time:

        Thanks.

        Ryzen 7, POP!_OS, 32GB Ram.250GB SSD, 2TB HDD

My tech suggested the link. I wanted to use the Linux 64.iso and also tried the 64 with grub. i checked sha1, sha256 and md5 and neither of the hashes below the iso downloads worked. Then i enabled all of the checksum types possible and nothing worked.

The program I am using is gtkhash and it worked recently when I checked a POP iso to make a live USB.

I downloaded the mt86plus_6.00_64.iso.zip and used 2 hash generators.
The MD5 hash agrees with the one shown on the memtest website: cbbf4cc9245c0338b69ec6c274dd38c3

      cheers, Paul

        Thanks Paul.

I rechecked Gtkhash and redid all of my checks and it picked it up this time. I probably made an error the first time and then checked the iso but of course the checksum is for the zip file. Most times when I have had to checksum it has been directly to the file not the container/folder.
