• Hidden?? Linked Table (Access 2000)

I have a table that is linked to another database. When I look in the source DB, I can’t find the table (I have show hidden objects ON).

Originally I presumed the link to be a mistake, but I can open the table up when double-clicking on the link.

I must be missing something prety simple here – surely??

OK – I THINK the mystery is solved. The name of the table has been changed in the destination DB. Is there a way to prove that? A nice bit of code maybe?

In tools, options check the system Objects checkbox.
      Open the table MSysObjects.
In the column Name look for the linked table.
You will find the Name of the table in the original MDB in the column ForeignName and the name and the path of the original MDB in the column Database.
