I just bought a new PC with Windows 10 loaded on it. It also has a lot of junk loaded at the factory. My needs are simple and my data plan has a small allowance (4GB per month). For most months this has been fine on my old Windows Vista system. I heard Windows 10 was a data intensive system and have seen it for myself on my new PC.
I’m looking for ways of economizing my usage. In the “Windows 10 for dummies book” by Woody Leonhard. it is suggested to run http://www.pcdecrapifier.com to remove most of the junk.
I have tried downloading the pcdecrapifier, the page that opens tells me “if the download doesn’t start automatically within a few seconds please use this link”. When I click this link a tab “pc-decrapifier-3.0.1.exe” opens. then I try to open this, a new page opens and it is blank.
Is this the correct path to take to load pcdecrapifier, or am I missing something?
Can anyone advise on the proper path for loading this program? I’m not real computer savvy and would appreciate any advice on &using the pcdecrapifier.
