      Have you tried NotePad?

Thank you for responding.  I tried Notepad but it looked unreadable.  Not like regular text.  Can you read json files with notepad? is there some setting I don’t know about?  How do you read json files?

I am attaching what I see when I open the json file from Yahoo in Notepad.  I opened Activity Data>User Data 1. Below is the address on file explorer.

        D:\Downloads\Chrome Downloads\(json file from yahoo)\Activity Data\User Data 1

I don’t think what I get is very readable but perhaps this is all there is.  Does it look right to you?

The PDF of JSON output viewed in Notepad looks entirely normal and fairly simply structured data.

The problem is that JSON output can range from simple to highly complex and deeply nested.

Perhaps try again but using the free Notepad++ and its JSON viewer plug-in?

(The plug-in download contains both the NPPJSONViewer.dll plug-in DLL and a readme file. Open the readme file in Notepad++ for instructions about how to copy and install the plug-in.)

For example, the complex nested JSON data in the right-hand pane is shown in the JSON viewer in the left-hand pane.

      json_viewer

(I’ve highlighted a single data fragment so you can see the correlation between the raw nested data and how the same data appears in the viewer when you drill down to it.)

      Hope this helps…

Thank you for your reply.  Guess I just did not know what to expect.  Thought it would be a nice list of dates and what Yahoo kept.  I think that is there but not easily found.  A lot of entries showed 0 content.  As well it should as I don’t use any Yahoo stuff.  But my mail program checks for Yahoo mail provided by AT&T and that is the most activity in Activity.

Good idea about using a different Notepad with extras.  I may try it when I have time.  I appreciate the time it took to answer my question.

        Thank you.
