I active directory you can put a lot of informations about users, but not about the computers?
Is there a way to add more info boxes in the computer properties in AD?
Maybe there is a add-on to AD someone knows about?
I would like to keep track of my computers hardware and software.

Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |

I’d use a dedicated software audit program that puts the detail into a database. There are several free products that work well.

AskWoody LoungerApril 10, 2014 at 4:09 am #1448192Have a look at PowerShell you can easily add your own objects and collect lots of information about any PC to populate those objects. You might like to start with the first tutorial at http://www.microsoftvirtualacademy.com/Content/ViewContent.aspx?et=3286&m=3284&ct=17862
