    I am using win10 pro 1909 OS bld 18363.1016

I have a Samsung SSD 86o EVO 250 gbsata lll internal ssd  (was used as internal but mobo caused CPU to overheat on Lenovo it was in) I put it in an external USB case; So I would like to delete one partition (recovery Partition, 897 mb) and expand remaining partition to achieve one partition . Disk Mgmnt doesn’t give this option for this partition. Tried to dl free mintool partition program but apparently it isnt offered free any longer.

Anyone have info how to achieve this? Thought I could use it to store files from my iphone 11- only 64gb storage on that.

    Thank you!

Boot to Linux Mint with a live boot and use GParted. It worked well for me with a similar problem.

I have found that Windows Disk Management can sometimes be limited and refuse to do what you want.

GParted seems to do whatever you tell it to do. Just be careful that you are targeting the correct drive. Linux doesn’t use Windows drive letters…
