Is there a straightforward way, either within W7 or a utility, to display the current status of all power saving options?

I’m looking for that because I’m interested in 24×7 data collection devices and software which are easily upset by any power saving that is enabled (consciously or by default) on the PC. It’s a pain digging through the heirarchy of the power options menu and experience shows that users are not very good at doing that, and it’s easier to blame the device or software rather than sniff out some obscure USB power down that is the real problem.

    Thanks…

powercfg /query in a Command Prompt window gives you information about the currently-applied power scheme.
Powercfg /? of course gives you the range of options.

      BATcher

Plethora means a lot to me.
