I am using a desktop PC, and can not swipe from the sides of the screen. Anybody know how to import a i-calendar file into W10TP..?? Seems all the instructions I could fine referred to a swipe from the left of the screen..??

I think that on non touch PCs, just swiping with the mouse is the equivalent – that is, move mouse cursor to left of the screen and then move it quickly right.

Eliminate spare time: start programming PowerShell

Unfortunately there is no easy way to synch a Google calendar right now. See How to see your Google events in the Calendar app. Note: this says windows 8/8.1 but applies to Win10 TP also.

As long as the Win10 calendar app is for the same Microsoft account as Outlook.com the imported data from the .ics file will show up in the Win10 app.
