    How can you switch users in Win 8 without the benefit of Classic Shell?

      You could create a log off shortcut on your desktop and Start Screen. I outlined a method in Post #2 in this thread

      From your same posts Win-X also does the same; Win x>Shut Down or Sign out>Sign Out. I’m a goob–should have been here poking around when I installed Win8:rolleyes:

        Nothing wrong with that. I still haven’t read a single “sticky” at the head of this forum.

        Always create a fresh drive image before making system changes/Windows updates; you may need to start over!
        We all have our own reasons for doing the things that we do with our systems; we don't need anyone's approval, and we don't all have to do the same things.
        We were all once "Average Users".
