By default, Windows 10 has a ‘hidden’ setting that allows peer-to-peer ‘uploading’ of Windows Updates to other devices, either on the same network or including the internet as well.

By ‘hidden’ I mean that there’s no mention of this P2P service during upgrade/setup and the setting is buried within Windows Update.
To turn it off, do this:

[*]Click on Start.
[*]Click on Settings.
[*]Click on Update & security.
[*]Click on Windows Update.
[*]Click on Advanced options.
[*]Click on Choose how updates are delivered.
[*]Slide the toggle switch from On to Off.
[*]Close Settings.
Note: You can also do this via a REG file.
