Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
Since a recent “upgrade” to Win11 and its associated files, my Outlook no longer recognizes or opens .ics files. In the past, I just clicked on the downloaded file and the calendar entry was inserted in Outlook calendar; now the response message says it does not recognize the file type (when clicked in the downloaded files folder).
Is there a remedy?
Of course – how stupid of me! [And how incomplete for the upgrade of Win 10 to Win 11]
