We have a three node Win 98 peer network using netbeui. One system is the “server”. One of the other systems’ IE5.5 cache is being saved to the server (E:windowstemporary internet files) as well as locally (C:windowstemporary internet files). When “empty temporary internet files folder when browser is closed” is checked in advanced setting, the cache flushes on both systems. When I moved the cache directory, it continued to save on E:. I could find no references to “E:windowstemporary internet files” in the registry.
Any ideas on how to prevent this duplication of the cache?
