I have a Word form that has check boxes on it. I want to import that into a PowerPoint presentation. I have tried copy/paste, paste special, paste special as RTF,… all the paste special options. None of them work the way I want. They import everything but the check boxes. Any other suggestions? This is something we often need to do, and I have never found a good way to do it.

Do you want to check the boxes during the presentation for later use or further manipulation?

      In Word I believe that’s a field. I’m fairly sure you’re stuck.

I don’t need them to be able to actually use the check boxes, just have them appear so it looks just like the original form. Maybe there’s something I should do in Word to prep the document.. is there a command to convert the fields to text boxes maybe? hmmmmm Just thinking aloud. Let me know if you have any neat workarounds. Thanks!

If looks are what you want – why not a screen shot?

          Cheers

Duh.. ’cause I didn’t think of it. I was thinking complicated. Thanks for the reality check!
