Prior to adding a new record or changing an existing record I wish to change the BackColor for selected controls.

This is to apply to a subform’s records. Can this Apply to a continuous form?

Also where would I put this code, in the OnCurrent event perhaps?

I have found a solution in Eileen’s Lounge using a unbound controls and conditional formatting to fudge it.
