installation error

I’m trying to install some software into Windows Vista: I get an error message 1720, and in the error log (see attachment) it tells me that there is something wrong with a VB script. Has anyone any ideas as to how to move forward on this?

Have you tried running the install by running as administrator?

PS I moved your post to Vista since that’s the OS in question.

thanks–I wasn’t sure where to put it. Yes: I’ve done some standard things like run as administrator and without the virus program.

Are you running 32-bit or 64-bit Vista? According to what I can find the VPN client is not yet support on 64-bit Vista. Have you reviewed Release Notes for Cisco VPN Client, Release 5.0.00 and Release 5.0.01 [Cisco VPN Client] – Cisco Systems for the advisories/caveats?
