      — but it’s undeniably having lots and lots of installation problems.

      From that link:

There are not many people reporting the BSOD problems, so it’s safe to assume that this is not a widespread issue.

        Glass half full/half empty.

Mayank has documented many more installation problems than I’m accustomed to seeing.

At the same time, the cries of pain aren’t universal.

People should consider what they gain vs. the potential for problems. As best I can tell, there’s exactly zero reason to install the optional patch, aside from a partial fix to a long-standing Search problem — and that’s only for 1909, which I still don’t recommend.

I’m curious why a patch is released claiming to fix known issues and then we later find out that is not entirely the case. Were the bugs actually tested after patching? Apparently not. This seems to be a reoccurring issue.

Yep. That’s the same list that’s in the original KB article.

That link has users posts regarding BSoDs, Sound problems, Remote Desktop problems, HDMI, external display, disabled readyboost drives, TPM Driver and Bitlocker disabled, Bluetooth, locked laptop..and the list of bugs goes on…
