KB4603002 – Feb 2021 Patch for .Net Framework.

For some unknown reasons, I cannot install KB4603002 – Feb 2021 Patch for .Net Framework onto my Win 7 Pro laptop. Please refer to attached 2 x jpg file for details.

Was wondering whether anybody in this forum has encountered the same problem as me and if your answer is a firm “Yes” then how do you resolve it? Is KB4603002 patch nice to have installed or must be installed on my Win 7 Pro laptop?

Error Code 800B0101 is a security certificate error which can be caused by an incorrect date/time on your computer:

Error Code 800B0101

The good news is that the security issue fixed in these patches merely blocks an attacker from performing a denial of service. … If you must remove this update, I don’t see it as a high risk if you can’t install it at this time.
