I have an HP Lightscribe cd/dvd player/burner an am running Windows 7. My problem is that Sure Thing cd/dvd label program will not recognize my lightscribe drive. If you can help I would appreciate it.

Can you use the drive for reading/writing? Have you been able to use it for lightscribe in the past? Are any other programs able to use it?

I would open the computer case and make sure that the drive’s cables are securely connected on both ends.

Have you been through the Sure Thing FAQ’s, particularly the ones in the LightScribe section?

If that doesn’t help, why not contact Sure Thing Support directly?

I have used it before, it does read/write and other programs can use the lightscribe function. I have not contacted Sure Thing yet but will now. Thanks for the suggestions.
