Linking tables from other databases (MS Access 97)

I have a mdb file with few tables. Now I have to generate some reports using tables from two other mdb files. When I try to link the tables from these databases it gives me permission error. How can I work around this problem.

Can you open these databases? You may not have permission to open these databases. See the system administrator if this is the fact.

If any of the databases is secured using Access security, you may be running into workgroup issues.
