Will this be installed in an update or just available in the App store? It’s not Copilot, so hopefully it will just be an available app. See Susan’s post re: her 96 year old father.

Apple doesn’t push 3rd party software

Just looked at the link again.  It is Microsoft Copilot…3rd party to Apple. I missed that at first.  Thanks.

Who’d want to put Microsoft stuff on a Mac, anyway!

Don’t you have six copies of Windows running on Macs?

        • #2752296

For testing and AskWoody info mostly and in VMs.
NO COPILOT, NO UWP CrApps (other than the Store which advised not to remove), NO Edge even in the VMs.

I don’t have ANY MS Apps on my MacOS. NO MS Office, No Edge, NO CoPilot.

No File Explorer, Control Panel, Windows Media Player, Notepad, Paint, Calculator, Calendar, Solitaire, Xbox?

I’m surprised those six versions of Windows on your Macs are worth keeping around just for testing if you’ve stripped everything out.

Nope. Those are Windows apps. You can’t install them on MacOS.
