Besides warning the reader about using Windows 11 on an unsupported machine, Microsoft also announces that they are going to be very annoying about it:

When Windows 11 is installed on a device that doesn’t meet the minimum system requirements, a watermark is added to the Windows 11 desktop. Notification might also be displayed in Settings to advise that the requirements aren’t met.

BTW, the headline on Neowin’s article is inaccurate: the linked Microsoft page doesn’t contain instructions for “how to install Windows 11 on unsupported PCs”, it only gives instructions for going back to Windows 10.
